Our Roots

Wema Girls Cup was founded on one boold question- "What if football could change a girl's life?" From that question came action, connecting youths, communities and schools to create a platform where girls could be seen, heard and celebrated.

Empowering girls through purpose-driven progrmans that go beyond the pitch

Grassroots Football

Local football training camps in underrepresented regions, helping girls build skills, teamwork, and confidence — right in their own communities.

Coaching beyond Sport

Each girl is paired with mentors who guide them through leadership, communication, self-esteem, and navigating challenges off the field.

Community Advocacy

Wema organizes events and campaigns to raise awareness about gender equity, child protection, and girls' rights in local communities.

Scholarship Pipeline

We connect girls with opportunities — from high school scholarships to vocational training and university applications.

Educational Support

We provide academic encouragement, access to school supplies, and tutoring partnerships — because an empowered girl must have knowledge as well as a voice.
